A cooling module would consist of a radiator, transmission cooler, aluminum fan shroud with one or more electric cooling fans, coolant recovery tank and radiator cap. Here you see a 1930 Plymouth radiator that has been recored with an exact original honey-comb style core. Although very expensive,  this can be done if you require an exactly restored radiator.       This is a radiator for a 1952 Oldsmobile that has been recored with a high efficiency style core. We re-used the original top tank and side straps to retain some of the original appearance and added a larger bottom tank to accomodate  a thicker core and an automatic transmission cooler.       We can also repair and pressure test coolant expansion tanks. Griffin aluminum radiators not only fit good, they look good. Most are built to resemble the OEM radiator in appearance as well as fit. This Griffin fits a 60 to 63 Galaxie. It is also available without a cooler for manual transmission applications. We can duplicate your radiator while mordernizing it. Cores that were originally "honeycomb" can be recored with the same style core or changed to another style core. A "veneer" can be put over the face of a V cell core to make it look like a honeycomb core. Odd shaped headers can be re-used or duplicated if neccessary. The header is the piece between the tubes and the tanks. After 70 years this core could not be cleaned out. It was recored. This picture shows the importance of proper maintenance on your cars cooling system, no matter how old it may be. This is Griffins answer to TRICK MAXIMUM COOLING for a 55-57 Chevy. It will cool up to 600 horsepower and includes an A/C condenser to help keep you as cool as your engine. Griffin also makes a downflow radiator for a more conventional installation. Griffin even has an exact fit radiator for a 409 64 Impala. You can polish it to look like chrome or even paint it black and pass it off as a stock radiator it looks so good. By placing the tubes closer together in the High Efficiency and Optima models, a denser core is created with more tubes, fins and surface area to dissipate greater amounts of heat. Aluminum radiators, electric cooling fans, belt driven cooling fans & transmission coolers are some of the products sold through Classic Radiator.  Aluminum Radiators with the patented Flex-A-Fit mounting system provide almost endless mounting possibilities. The extruded fin design also provides additional cooling and adds to the "billet" look of your engine compartment. Electric cooling fans are available in sizes from 7" to 16" diameter and CFM ratings from 340 CFM to 3300 CFM. S-Blade, straight blade, pusher and puller versions give additional variety to choose from.
